DIY Ms. Frizzle Costume

15 Aug

As you all know, I work for a halloween costume and party supplies e-commerce store. Now and then we have themed costumes for work! This coming week is the 90’s theme. There were so many ideas that I could think of, but I wanted it to be a 90’s cartoon. I could’ve been any character from Doug, or Hey Arnold, Urkel, Daria and Jane or any character from The Simpsons. But the first thing that came to my mind was a book I used to read as a child. What’s a better 90’s costume than Ms. Frizzle from The Magic School Bus? Check out my tutorial below!

Hi – great costume! How did you adhere the shapes onto your dress and shoes?

Thanks so much! I used fabric glue and it worked like magic. You might want to wait overnight for it to dry before wearing or moving the dress though!

Thanks for the tip! We are having a character parade at the school where I work and this is a wonderful help!
